Classes are officially over! On one hand, it means the end of semester is closer but on the other hand, you will miss THE PEOPLE. It's bittersweet i guess
No more reports. No more presentations! (at least for the next 2 months) And most importantly, NO MORE AW FOREVER!!! :D but i still have to study for the final term papers. I have 3! and as of today i have 11 more days to study for them. ahhh better start tmr!!!! i've been treating today like a holiday.
Went for Starry Night yesterday. It was okayyyy. I like the concept :) Music was nice though except for one band with this irritating lead singer that had kinda greasy long hair. He was trying to like head-bang and look cool with sunglasses on that always kept falling off. (Halfway through the set it totally fell off HAHAAHA jothi and i had a good laugh) but the band after that i thought the lead singer was damn hot!!! i had to leave after one song from them =x then there was that guy we made friends with whom i bet was hulf-drunk. He couldn't pronounce my name for nuts. He was like "Shangrila?" I shake my head and tell him it's Shahida and he goes like "Shafida?" and i tell him my name and he gets it wrong and this continued for a few more times all the while with music blasting so in the end i just gave up and nodded (even though he still got my name wrong!) and he's like "i will remember that name!" :O
celebrated agnes' and samuela's birthday last saturday! :D it was nice! pictures are on facebook!
Muse is coming here next year! (i know everybody knows already haha) so are The Killers!!! I wish The Cat Empire would though i'd just die from that thing called happiness

omg i take back what i said about bidding. NO PLEASURE at all! even when you get your bids, you realise your classes have vacancies still and you could have just bid the minimum e$10. i could've saved a total of $14 man and spent it on Creative Thinking instead. [which i didn't get thanks to idiot kiasu bidders] HMPH

i am supposed to be finalising the slides for TWC presentation tomorrow but i seem to be having a mental block. My brain is not registering the fact that it is TOMORROW and that i actually cannot afford to procastinate. UGH
Bidding starts tmr! and for some reason i can't wait! like the whole process of having to plan your timetable, decide on prof and bid prices and then waiting with bated breath for bidding results. It is like horror and excitement at the same time. equals to exhilaration for me.
Green tea actually works at keeping me awake! GOOD RIDDANCE coffee
this week is week 12. i have 2 presentations. TWC on monday(tmr) and biz law on friday. Then i'll be free like a bird! until AW research paper and final term exams clip my wings, that is.
bleep bleep bleeeeeep
p.s. my mac so slow when i run keynote and imovie simultaneously :(
and i want to watch THIS IS IT before it stops showing in theatres!

Today while being sqaushed on the morning train to school, i saw a woman who was in all black but she accessorized in yellow! She had yellow earrings, necklace, bangle, shoes, bag & scarve! It was such a nice sight for my sleepy eyes :)
on another note, no more morning lessons for me.
cos i'm always late! and the morning rush sucks for the mrt SUCKS!

First off, got to meet Shikin after like THREE WHOLE WEEKS! it was nice :D meeting her again tomorrow. Thanks CIP, for bringing us together hahha
And then it was VPH finals. Went to support JULIA who did marvelously well! Most Popular and 1st runner-up woohoo! Jeanette's F1sportscar/banner was seriously cute! and i love the crown on Agnes'!
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole event too cos the contestants are so amusing and funny. I wouldn't mind attending next year's if it will be this entertaining even if i didn't have anyone to support! hehe
That was my nice respite from schoolwork for a bit. Now back to it. Gotta brush up on my BGS script AND practice presentation like mad AND plan my AW research paper AND finish up my write-up for TWC. All to be done by monday :O

some of my faves:
Today in the car we were at a stoplight, and the sun was right in my eyes. Just then a truck pulls up next to me blocking it. The truck was advertising sun block. I laughed. MLIA
Today, I went to a restaurant, where a cute waiter took my order. I began doodling on the white paper table cover to pass the time waiting for my coffee. Leaving my drawing of a girl waiting patiently at a table behind, I went to use the bathroom. I came back to a drawing of a waiter serving the girl her a cup of coffee, with my own coffee next to it. I think I'm in love. MLIA
Today at work, an elderly gentleman came in and asked if his shoes were ready. When I told him that they were not, he gave me a disappointed look and asked why not. I regrettably informed him that he was in an ice cream store. MLIA
Today, my boyfriend and I were standing on the sidewalk when I noticed an elderly man on a motorized scooter coming up right behind us. Instead of saying "Excuse me", he said "Beep beep, wild driver coming through", winked at us, and made zooming noises down the street after he passed us. I hope I am half as awesome as him when I'm older. MLIA

jeanette gave me half her "children's day" kinder bueno today! then i ate some toblerone of hers. and i choked and coughed till i puked!!! HAI chocolate is my enemy when i'm having a phlegmy cough. it makes my eyes water and i feel like there is this thrashing animal in my throat trying to jump out! no kidding! i hate it when that happens. but strepsils saves the day :O
ok biz law [or BEES LOR according to some crazy person, talking nonsense, who shall be IGNORED] mid-term test tomorrow. So dead and gone but whatevs... whatever grade i get will forever be a misrepresentation of my true potential! ok i don't even know what misrepresentation means! and it's supposed to be a big part of tomorrow's test =x
off to bed now so that i can wake up in time tomorrow! cannot repeat the past two friday mornings. |

There is just so many things to do!!!! and i'm running out of time. plus i get pissed off really easily nowadays. surrounded by insincere people... not everyone la but one or two. urgh why so two-faced!!! i've learnt my lesson. you are not gonna take advantage of me anymore! ok enough with the ranting.
had a pretty good time last weekend! :D shall post some pictures soon!
And handball is getting pretty fun! I enjoy training minus the intervals HAHA
ok nothing else... just beginning to realise that deadlines never stop coming. which STINKS. |
