i just had to kill a roach!!!! Like an hour ago! i am terribly afraid of them and i kinda froze for 3 seconds before getting the pesticide spray... the roach went behind a shelf but eventually came out and wriggled to death. this is the first time I've had to kill a cockroach myself!! usually i just get my dad to 'save the day'. so i kinda felt a little bad having to witness the roach die =x [but wtvr I still prefer it dead rather than alive]

and the stink from the spray is so bad!!! it's still here lingering around me YUCKS!!!! and I'm like sneezing from it and i can't breathe as proper as before!!! Stupid pesticides. They really cause more harm than good.

While the roach was wriggling, I was worried that it was just cleaning the pesticide of itself and any minute it was gonna just start running around again. So I started googling trying to find out how much spray pesticide was needed to kill a cockroach etc [cos i really sprayed as little as I could HATE pesticides] and then i found a GEM of a solution: BORIC ACID. apparently it ensures your home remains roach-free. AND IT'S TOTALLY ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY!!! like it won't give you cancer or hurt your kids or pets or have a horrible lingering stench after you use. you only have to like spread the powder in cracks around your house and the corners etc. or you could even just dissolve it in water and the roach will drink that and it won't die on the spot but get this... IT will have time to go back to it's nest and spread the chemical all over the nest and ultimately KILL ALL IT'S BABIES. So you take out the whole family, not just the dad-roach who went out food-hunting [muahahahha]

Awesome right? I know! It's like all those pest exterminators are gonna lose their market share or someth. Cos like this shit even works on ants, bees blah blah. and then there's the part where boric acid can't actually be patented so it's like really really cheap. I'm gonna get my mum to try this out. It's not like we have a roach infestation but seriously, a roach-free home environment is like the end to my roach-phobia. like everytime i stay up late to study i won't have to suffer from the usual hallucination of roaches running around the kitchen floor in the dark when i go to the toilet. perfect.

okay enough about that. TWC exam tomorrow and I am gonna do some hardcore studying [who am i kidding] with atiqah & hanisah laterrr. We going to Toa Payoh library. You know, I just realise that I haven't even stepped into the school library since study week began. And i keep hearing all these stories about people staying there overnight to mug [the horror!]

People reading this who know of my sleeping habits must be wondering why i am actually up so early at 7.35 am!!! Cos, you see, i have to be at Toa Payoh at 10 am and i figured the only way i could actually arrive on time for something before noon was if I stayed up the whole night. That's right not a wink. But i still feel okay. Will get coffee later though, just to play safe and sustain the energy level!

i watched Ugly Betty's latest episode just now. I kinda got sick of it after season 2 and skipped season 3. and now I'm picking up from season 4 and I'm starting to like it again. Betty is still irritating but i love Amanda the receptionist!!!! She is funny awesome. and i wished they would show more of Betty's family esp her nephew. He's so over the top!!

My top 5 shows that i catch every week NO MATTER WHAT [yes even when there's exams or presentations the next day]
1. HIMYM [do i need to explain???]
2. The Simpsons [halloween special this yr was AWESOME]
3. Gossip girl [stupid twist-in-every-direction drama i like! dont judge]
4. Desperate housewives [ok this one a bit embarrassing. erm, i watch it for Bree's cheekbones? They're perfect! Plus I've also been to the set! In universal studios! haha no connection]
5. GLEE [i've just started this one but it's seems really good!]

I watch family guy, the cleveland show if i really have nothing to do with my time. and i really like the jonathan ross show!! but mostly i watch that randomly on youtube. Go check out his Danial Radcliffe interviews. They are unbelievably hilarious. Totally changed my opinion of Dan Radcliffe. for the better.

BUT the one show that i am really really excited about is SKINS!!! new season starting JAN 2010. 1 more month! can't wait can't wait can't wait

i know some people say the shows you watch say something about who you are, like, you are what you watch. If that's even true, I wonder what my list says about me.

ok this post has been a total mind-ramble. i still have half an hour before i have to shower. Shit i just yawned.
